About Angie Runyan, M.A., IBCLC
Registered Lactation Consultant and Postpartum Doula
Angie Runyan, M.A. is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has been working with families for over two decades as a children's advocate, an art therapist, a breastfeeding expert and a birth doula. She continues to provide postpartum doula services to families and breastfeeding support for new mothers. Angie has been La Leche League Leader for the past eleven years. Her passion for breastfeeding advocacy comes primarily from her own experiences of breastfeeding her own three babies and the discovery of the effectiveness breastfeeding as a tool for optimal health and satisfying family relationships. She considers her relationships with her husband and three children to be her most significant accomplishments.
