Dr. Katie Gregory is a licensed chiropractic physician in the state of Illinois. Dr. Gregory graduated cum laude from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL earning her degree in chiropractic medicine. While in school, Dr. Gregory completed over 200 hours of post-graduate training in Acupuncture, making her eligible to practice Acupuncture as a chiropractic physician in the state of Illinois. She has completed additional post-graduate training in pediatrics, nutrition, internal disorders, Kinesio Taping and McKenzie Method.

Two years ago, Dr. Gregory made the decision to further her education in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She is currently completing a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture at the National University of Health Sciences. In addition to traditional Acupuncture, she is trained in the use of other modalities, including guasha, cupping, moxa and tuina. Dr. Gregory has successful experience treating a wide variety of conditions, including headaches, acute and chronic pain, insomnia, colds and chronic congestion, anxiety and depression, digestive complaints and menstrual irregularities.

In Chinese medicine, disorders occur as a result of energy imbalances or obstructions in the body. When a person is in optimal physical, mental and emotional health, the body's organs and systems function in harmony i.e. optimally. The stresses of everyday living, as well as poor diets, emotional disturbances and environmental factors lead to a steady decline of energy and eventually a disease state. The purpose of Acupuncture and other accessory modalities is to correct imbalances, increase energy and harmonize the body.

Dr. Gregory believes a healthy diet is the cornerstone of wellness and that healing begins from the inside out. Lifestyle modifications are almost always necessary to achieve optimal health. Dr. Gregory strongly emphasizes diet and nutrition, as well as practical ways of implementing changes in everyday life.

Dr. Gregory currently lives in Lombard with her husband, who is also a proponent and student of natural medicine. It is their goal to live a life that exemplifies the principles of natural health and wellness.

Health is everything!
